In tho State tennis championships, in the men’s singles, Howe defeated O’Hara Wood, 5-7, 6-0, 6-3, 0-2. in tho women’s singles Miss Boyd beat Miss Lo Mossurier, G-0, 0-1. bum defeated Turnbull in the junior men’s singles, C-3, 6-3. In the mixed doubles M'lnnes and Miss Boyd defeated O’Hara Wood and Mrs Gray, 6-2, 8-6. Misses Boyd and' Nathony defeated Misses Le Mossurier and Weston, G-2, 2-6, 6-3 in the women’s doubles.
