ENGINE TROUBLE
TRAINS DELAYED [Pm United Press Association.] CHRISTCHURCH, January 12. The engine of the 8 a.m. train from Ashburton to Christchurch broke down this morning between Dromore and Chertsey, delaying several other trains. Eventually the engine of the Invercargill goods express was transferred to the Ashburton train, and Christchurch was reached over an hour late.
