Charged with the theft of sums totalling £76 3s sd, belonging to the Upper Hutt Tennis Club, of which he was treasurer for some years. William Joseph Pyrtle Howe, thirty-five years of age, a carpenter, pleaded guilty, and waSiJkCommitted to the Supreme Court fo&sentence.
