At a stop-work meeting this morning the Lyttelton watersiclers agreed to work on Saturday afternoons, thus falling into line with the practice in oWier ports. Following that decision, the men will receive an increase in wages of lid an hour, which will he retrospective for a period of between six and nine months.—Christchurch J&ess Association telegram
