TORCH AND REVOLVER
YOUTHFUL BURGLARS [Per United Press Association.] CHRISTCHURCH. December 14. Before the magistrate tb-day two youths, William Alfred Meagher and Jack Sydney Valentine, were committed for trial on several charges of breaking, entering, and theft. Meagher was also charged with carrying a pistol, and was fined £lO, in default one month. A constable gave evidence that be arrested Meagher breaking into a shop. In his possession were a torch and a revolver fully loaded.
