MORRINSVILLE STILL IKE CENTRE [Psb TJnitbd Press Association.] HAMILTON, November 16. A further heavy earthquake shock was felt at Morrinsvillo about 3 p.m., and more damage was done. The residents were alarmed. Further particulars show that damage has occurred in various parts of the town, this afternoon’s shock being the second heaviest recorded in the present series. At Nottingham Castle Hotel extensive cracks appeared in the ceiling, other buildings being similarly damaged. A slight shook was felt at Hamilton at 2.25 p.m. ANXIETY CONTINUES BRICK BUILDINGS BUTTRESSED AGAINST COLLAPSE. MORRINSVILLB, November 17. There were no further shocks at Morrinsville last night, but a slight tremor was felt at daylight to-day. The damage already done is extensive, concrete and brick buildings being cracked and liable to collapse, the walls having to be supported by beams. Anxiety continues.
