„ CONTROL BOARD'S POLICY AGREEMENTS WITH TRADERS. Press Association—- By Telegraph Copyright LONDON, November 16. It is understood that as a result of Mr Coates’s many interviews with the London representatives of the Dairy Board and the butter traders combined, he has cabled that after negotiations the parties have reached a mutually acceptable policy for the marketing of the new season’s butter. The Dairy Board has not agreed _ to forgo altogether its policy of pricefixing, but has undertaken that this shall be done jointly by the board and the trade, though in the event or a disagreement the board retains the last word. The board has given the trade a satisfactory assurance that -it does not desire to hold up supplies, but to allow the new butter to go steadily on the market as it arrives.
