GOLF CHAMPIONSHIPS
THE MIRAMAR MEETING [Per United Press Association.] WELLINGTON, October 22. After a windy and rainy night there wa-s a fine morning for to-day’s play in tho final of the professional championship between M‘ln tosh and Shaw, and in semifinals of the amateur championship in which K. Tareha meets Leo Quin, and A. D. S. Duncan meets T. H. Horton. In the first round of the semi-final of tho amateur championship, Quin was 1 up on Tareha, and Duncan 2 up on Horton. At tho end of the first round of tho professional final, M'Jntosh was 4 up cn Shaw.
