‘WATCH YOUR STEP’

f Watch Y'our Step ‘ will bo the attraction at His Majesty’s Theatre for throo evening performances and a matinee, commencing on Monday next (Labor Day), with a crossword puzzle. ‘Watch Your Step ’ is presented by Mr J. V. Hanna under the auspices of tho Y.M.C.A.. and is said to easily eclipse its predecessor, ‘Hulloa, Dunedin,’ being far more spectacular. For instance, tho Argentina scene is demonstrated by 10(1 fair senoritas, with a corps dc ballet, besides additional tangoists. Tho eccna introduces musically the reigning successes ‘Valencia’ and ‘Picador,’ while Miss Molly Andrews in tho part of Carmicncita essays tho popular ‘Spain,’ Madame Marjorie Cadman, an English prima donna, is to appear in the Sioux Indian scona, ‘Tho Land of the Sky-bluo Water,’ in which sho will have tho assistance of her Indian maids, with their arrows of gold. A novelty is promised in ‘Grand father’s Day,’ which was one of the hits of tho Ziegfeld Follies in New York A delightful scona is tho 1 Midnight Waltz’ in the ballroom scene, of which Mr "Williams and lilies Winnie Robinson will demonstrate (ho newest ballroom steps. ‘ From the Land of tho Almond Blossoms ’ will ho outstanding. It is said to resemble ‘Christmas Night in Tokio.’ with its myriads of lanterns, illuminated clubs, and magic wands. It will serve as a vehicle lo introduce tho magical illusions of the 'Pagoda,' ‘Tho Duck in Hi.s Rotunda,’ ‘Tho Magic Fruit,’ etc. Other scenes include ‘Tho Green Hat,’ Gretna Green Fayre, ‘Tho Original Punch and Judy,’ and a Gretna Green marriage. A special orchestra under tho baton of Mrs W. Haggitt will create the right atmosphere, while the revue will be produced by Mr Percy James. The box plans are now open at Tho Bristol.
