Mrs Emma Goldman Colton, who is visiting Montreal, on her arrival from Europe, said that the political institutions in Russia were worse than they were under the Tsar. Mrs Goldman Colton, who was deported from the United States in 1919 and went to Russia, said: That docs not menu that I favor a return to Tsardom, but when people go through two revolutions, as the Russians have done, one has the right to expect more in the way of freedom and well-being than under the terrible regime of the Tsar. [Mrs Colton, better known as Emma Goldman, was formerly an Anarchist. She is nearly sixty years of ago. ohe has published a scathing exposure of the Bolshevist regime.] EXPULSION OF THE Y.M.C.A. NEW YORK, October 21. (Received October 22, at 9.20 a.m.) The Soviet has taken action which is interpreted as a complete expulsion of the Y.M.C.A. It is announced by the office of the National Council of the association that the Soviet compelled M'r H. D. Anderson, director of physical education, to leave Russia, and has confiscated Ins property.
