PRINCESS THEATRE
Ah added attraction at the Princess Theatre to-night will be scenes of the famous picture actor, Rudolph Valentino, lying in state in New York, and the thousands wlid gathered to pay their respects to the body. As usual, George Storey and. his little band of merrymakers will present a programme of vocal and comedy-•■turns, while the vaudeville side of the bill will be provided by Bcrtiui and lierno (musicians), the Garthy Brothers (comedians), Lorna, Lance, and Co. (juvenile entertainers). VETERANS OF VARIETY. __ “I saw the Veterans of Variety” (writes a critic).. “They are all old people, with old mannerisms, old hands, .and old songs. I met all the Veterans of Variety sifter the show. They were still old, but they had a charm which I shall never forget. As performers they are neither oldfashioned nor what you call ‘done.’ I suppose'it is because they learnt their business too well to forget it. Nowadays I thing people look ahead too much.” The Veterans were seart in London by Sir Benjamin Fuller and booked for his vaudeville circuit, and they will cohirileriee a short season at, Fuller’s Princess- Theatre on Tuesday next.
