LONDON, October 13. A man entered the Bank of Liverpool and held up the staff with a revolver, and when a cashier attempted to prevent him from taking the silver from tho counter he fired. The cashier was seriously wounded, and the truer dashed into the street, pursued by tho ■manager, calling “ Stop . thief. A crowd joined in the chase, and the thief fired point blank at two men, who were both wounded. A policeman who attempted to fell the robber with bis baton was also wounded. Eventually the man was arrested. An examination showed that only a few shillings were stolen. Two of the victims of the shooting are in a critical condition.
