(Received September 11, at 8.45 a.m.) Mr Pyle, organiser of professional tennis, interviewed regarding a report that ho would take Mile Lenglen and others to Australia, said that no definite decision had yet been reached. “It is our thought and desire,” ho said, “ to take Milo Lenglen and other outstanding players on a world tour next year, which would include Australia, but nothing is definitely settled, nor can a decision lie reached for at least two months. Wo are too busy now arranging tho American tour to make other plans.” Mr Pyle’s .statement is interpreted to mean that ho will await the results of the American experiment in professional tennis before planning for tho future. Upon the result of such an experiment depends the Australian trip.
