DEATH OF LORD KITCHENER HOME OFFICE STATEMENT, Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, September 9. The Home Office ended the Kitchener hoax with an ofiicial statement to the effect that exhaustive inquiries conclusively established that the collin never loft England. It had been traced io Newcastle, where it was stored until it was sent to London allegedly containing Kitchener's remains.
