(Received September 10, at 9 a.m.) The police are investigating an amazing story, which alleges that Eino Borg, a noted runner, and a member of tho Communist Workers’ Sports Federation, transferred his allegiance to the Bourgeois Club in order to enter for a race in which Nurmi was competing. Borg failed to appear, and it is alleged that he had been threatened with death if he participated in the Bourgeois Club’s matches.
