CR WAS HE PUSHED? ALPINE VICTIM’S INSURANCE. LONDON, August o. Tho Vienna correspondent of the ‘ Daily News ’ reports that Karl Beiletner, a dentist, Fraulcin Zcchner, his assistant, and Franz Schwarz, her lover, have boon charged with conspiring to murder Boileitncr’s cliief assistant, Alois Berger, whoso life had been insured for £2,000 unknown to himaelf, in Zechner’s favor. Schwarz is suspected of impersonating Berger at a medical examination. jßeileitner, it is alleged, then arranged a mountain excursion, inviting Berger, who was made drunk on beer into which brandy was surreptitiously poured. Ho was then pushed over a precipice, and cocaine was injected with fatal results when Berger was found to be alive. Zechner later secured £2OO on account of tho insurance. An exhumation of the body has been ordered.
