ADMINISTRATOR’S APPOINTMENT TERMINATED. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright, Australian and N.Z. Press Association!, MELBOURNE, August 13. (Received August 13, at noon.) In tho Senate the Minister of Home Affairs announced that the Government had decided to terminate tho appointment of Mr E. T. Leane, Administrator of Norfolk Island, at the expiration of two months’ leavo of absence from August 16. This decision is the outcome of a Royal Commission’s report upon the complaints made bycertain island residents regarding Mr Lcane’s administrative procedure.
