BIS BUDSET TO-MORROW The season is running into the period of big matches, and tho budget of news for to-morrow’s ‘ Sports Special ’ is an imposing one. It will include full reports of the Otago-Southland Rugby encounter at Carisbrook, the Ranfurly Shield match Hawke’s Bay v. Wellington at Napier, the League game Otago v. Canterbury at Christchurch, the Soccer encounter between Wellington and Canterbury at Wellington; ladies’ hockey, Otago v. South Otago; and the seven-a-side men’s hockey engagement The last day of the Grand National Meeting at Christchurch will be featured, with notes by “ St. Clair ” on the day’s racing. in addition, all local games will be reported at the usual length, and special articles will include “ Banker’s ” history of the Zingari Ciub, and another instalment of ‘ Old Time Cricket.’ The issue will be liberally illustrated.
