Tlio fortnightly mooting of Court Pride of tho Leith, A.0.F.. was hold on Wednesday evening, wnen there was a largo attendance of members, the C.R., Bros W. J. Duncan, presiding. It was arranged to suitably celebrate tho sixty-second anniversary of the court next month. The toast of “ The Visitors ” was responded to by P.C.R. Bro. E. C. Brian, on behalf of Court Sir George Bowen, Wellington; P.C.R. Bro. W. Himmel for Court Enterprise, and P.C.R. Bro. G. L. Walmsley for Court Excelsior. Two new members were added to tho roll, the membership now being 797. Following the close of the meeting tho members were the guests of P.C.R s Bros. J. Bcnfell, T. M‘Natty, and R. H. Rutherford, who* gave a unique entertainment. “ Community singing ” took place under the direction of Bro. C. S. Hawes, and was very successful. Mr Paul Reno gave a display of comedy juggling, and Mr J. Bowles gave several character sketches. The feature of the evening was the “mysterious supper.” Altogether the entertainment was most successfuL HEALTH FIRST!
