TERRIFIC EXPLOSION IN HUNGARY.
IiI'DAPES"', August 12.—The city and countryside were shaken, by a great explosion at the Weiss Munition Works, Enormous stores of explosives were discharged with thundrous■ reports.. Houses were unroofed two miles away. The extent .of',the damage is not known, as the telegraph and telephone lines are down in all directions, but it must he onc.inums. A great fire is raging, and prevents access to the scene. It is known that fourteen persons were killed.—A. and IN.a. A later message stated that twenty-four persons were killed and
200 injured.
