MALE CHOIR CONCERT
The Dunedin Male Choir will inaugurate its fortieth season in His Majesty’s Theatre on Wednesday evening nest. Owing to the generosity of some members, subscribers, and friends many new compositions have recently been added to the society’s library, and some of these will be given for the first time on Wednesday evening next. A noticeable feature in the rehearsals lor this concert has been the largo attendances of the members, who, by their keenness a«id application to study, have given pleasure to the conductor (Dr V. E. Galway), who anticipates an excellent concert. The lady vocalist will be Miss Mabelle Esquilant, who is well and favorably known to music-lovers in Dunedin. Messrs A. Moore and J. D, M'Kechuie will also sing, and Messrs J. W. Stewart and Alf. George will be the instrumentalists. Tickets and programmes are available at The Bristol, where the plan will bo opened on Monday morning.
