The Kamo arrived this morning from Bluff to load for Wellington, Napier, and Gisborne. She is to sail to-night. The Waipalii was to sail at noon today for Lyttelton, Wellington, and Auckland. • The Norwegian whale chaser Star VL, having undergone overhaul, and had ire plates fitted to her hull, left Port Chalmers yesterday afternoon for the whaling base at Stewart Island. The Wingatni is io sail to-night for Bluff, and will return on Tuesday to load for Lyttelton, Wellington, and A nckland. The Storm, which arrived here yesterday afternoon from Wanganui via ports, is to sail to-night for Timarn, Lvttelton. Wellington, Picton, .and \\ anganni. THE FERRY SERVICE. The Wahino, from AVellingtnn, arrived at Lyttelton at 6.50 a.m. 10-day, and passengers and mails came south by the. first express. THE BARON MURRAY. The New Zealand Shipping Company advises that the Baron Murray is now duo at Dunedin on Saturday from Lyttelton to continue discharging general cargo from St. John and Louisburg. The vessel will sail early next week for Sydney. THE KARETU. The Union Company advises that the Karetn is expected to leave Sydney on Saturday for Melbourne to complete loading for Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Bluff. MAORI TO 'RESUME. The Maori will resume her running in the ferry service to-day. She will relievo the AValiine, which will be laid up at Lyttelton for her annual overhaul.

LIGHTS AT ALOFI. The Resident Commissioner at Niue Island advises as follows: Permanent fixed lights, in transit 095)deg, are exhibited from the leading beacons, the front beacon showing a red and the rear a green light. A fixed white light, occassional, at a height of 70ft above ground and 170 ft above high water, is exhibited from the flagstaff situated 120yds southward of Alofi leading beacons. Masters of approaching ships desiring this light to bo shown must communicate with the Resident Commissioner by wireless to that effect in ample time 1 to allow of this being done. The times of the daily wireless listening services performed at Niue radio station are from 1,200 to 1,300 and from 1,800 to 2,400. It is suggested that vessels approaching Alofi at night should do so with Alofi occasional light 110deg_ until the leading beacon lights are in transit OSoideg. VESSELS IN WIRELESS CALL. The following vessels are expected to bo within range of the undermentioned wireless stations to-night:— Auckland.—H.M.S. Dunedin, H.M.S. Diomede, H.M.S. Veronica, H.M.S.
