BEWAEE OF JOINT PAINS
Pain within the joints, accompanied by heat, swelling, or stiffness, is usually a sure, sign of harmful uric acid, which, if neglected, may cripple and deform you. Prompt treatment with a suitable remedy is very important. It is not sufficient to rub the painful part with liniment, embrocation, or oils. Massage is positively harmful in some cases, and unnecessary suffering is caused by thoughtless treatment. Don’t bo satisfied with half measures. It may be a simple matter to obtain temporary relief from your pain or stiffness, but wouldn’t it be a lot better if you located the cause and thus cbtaiued lasting benefit. Is the painful part red or swollen. 9 Is the flash hot to the touch? When you move the part does it seem stiff, and docs it feel as if particles of sharp grit are embedded in the joint? Uric acid settles like this, and once it starts it gradually gets a firmer hold upon yon. Hot baths, massage, and similar methods of treatment may drive this uric acid from one part of the body to another, but of what use is that? You want to get rid of tho uric acid that is causing the trouble, and therefore you need De Witt’s Pills. When you take- De Witt’s Pills you do more than banish your pain. You heal and strengthen your kidneys, and thus enable them to keep you free from paiii-causing uric acid. You cannot expect to obtain such good results by any other means. Ask your chemist for a 3/0 box of De Witt’s Pills, and take two of the pills just before you go to bed. That is the way to treat stiff, swollen, or painful joints.—fAdvt.j
