NAVY LEAGUE APPREHENSIVE NEW ZEALAND BRANCHES BRAISED. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, Juno 11. (Received Juno 12, at 1.30 a.m.) Tiio Navy League passed a resolution expressing grave apprehension at the retaining of obsolete cruisers, because it gave an erroneous impression of the strength of tiro Navy: also that the dominions’ ships should bo excluded when comparison _ was made with foreign navies. Sir Cyril Cobb, M. 8., eulogised the enthusiasm of the League’s Now Zealand branches.—Sydney ‘ Sun ’ Cablo.
