STATE INSURANCE
BILL FOR NEW SOUTH WALES. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright Australian and N.Z. Press Association. SYDNEY, June 11. (Received June 11, at 12.50 p.m.) The State Government has decided to establish a State insurance office, where every class of insurance business will be transacted. The Bill is already drafted. It is almost identical with the Queensland scheme. The private insurance companies regard the proposal with considerable misgiving, ns it will compete against them, not only on a lower premium basis, but it also proposes to make bonus payments to policy holders from excess profits.
