MRS M'PIIERSON'S AFFAIRS INVESTIGATION BY POLICE. LOS ANGELES. Juno !. An aeroplane was chartered yesterday by Mrs Kennedy to strew white and red roses over the supposed watery grave of her daughter, “Sister” M’Pherson, the evangelist, who disappeared two weeks ago. Mrs Kennedy persists in tho belief that Mrs M’Pherson was drowned. Tho authorities to-day began a new and methodical investigation of Mrs M’Pbersou's affairs, and re-examined all witnesses who might know anything concerning her disappearance. Mr Harold M'Pherson, the former husband of Mrs M'Pherson, is commencing legal proceedings against tho latter’s mother, Airs Kennedy, for the custody of his twelve-year-old son. Tho hoy’s "grandmother wishes to adopt him.
