M'Elwee, the Inangahua player, has notified the selectors of his refusal to accept selection. M'Elwee contends that on Sunday’s play Inangahua was entitled to larger representation in the team. INVITATION TO ENGLISH TEAM Press/ Association—By Telegraph—Cooyrighl. Australian and N.Z, Press Association. -SYDNEY, June 10. The Australian Rugby League Board of Control has decided to invite an English team to visit Australia and New Zealand in 1927. Regarding unanimity of the rules in England, New Zealand, and Australia, it was decided that any suggested alteration in the laws should be forwarded to New Zealnd at the end of the season, asking the dominion to cooperate, and at the same time pointing out the results of their operation in Australia.
