FOOTBALLERS INJURED. Roland Wlldgoose, aged twenty-six years, , was admitted to the hospital at 3 p.m. on Saturday with injuries do the head, received whilst playing for Zingari-Richmond football team against University B. Frederick Malmanche, .aged twentyfive years, and residing at 37 Grove street, Musselburgh,:- was admitted to the hospital at 5 p.m. on Saturday suffering from an injured head,, received while playing football for Pirates team. AN AUCKLAND SERIES. James Couden Kennedy, .a married man, with four children, died in the Auckland Hospital from injuries sustained in a fall from a moving tram'. William Carlaw, aged forty-one, was knocked down by a train at Parnell, and is in hospital in a serious condition. J. Stead, a resident of Otalmhu, 's in hospital with a fractured skull, broken arm, and minor injuries through a basket of coal falling on his head. LEG AMPUTATED. A Pahiatua Association message states that Leslie Wilton, aged twenty, had his right leg amputated in the hospital as a result of injuries received in a collision between his motor cycle and a motor car late on Saturday night. MOTOR CYCLE RUNS INTO PRAM. A Alarton Association message staies that in the semi-darkness yesteulaw a motor cycle, ridden by two brothers named Jensen, .of Martoi, ram mto _a pram on the Main road, resulting-in severe injuries to a man named Murchie, who was wheeling the rram. Ihe baby occupant escaped practically unhurt.
