A PARING EXPERIMENT. BERLIN, May I. At the Convention of the German Surgical Society held here Dr Kurtzahn proved that he had transplanted particles of tumors from a. person suffering from cancer to his own leg for the purpose of proving that cancer is not contagious. He declared that the result had vindicated his theory, since the tumor had not infected the surrounding tissues on his leg, and soon disappeared. The blood teste also proved negative.
