WEMBLEY THRONES
DEDICATED TO EMPIRE CHURCH “ PEACE " AND " GOODWILL " Press Association —By Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, May 30. (Received May 31, at 11.45 a.m.) The two gold thrones, used by Their Majesties at the opening of the Wembley Exhibition, which were placed m the war memorial chapel, have been dedicate to tho Wembley parish church, otherwise the Empire Church, where the flags of all the dominions, the Union Jack, and the Royal Standard are hung. Tho Rev. Mr Bourchier, in a sermon suggested that the thrones bo named “Peace” and “Goodwill” respectively.—Renter.
