h USEFUL PUBLICATION It is a matter of importance to most people nowadays to know exactly the time of departure and arrival of the trams which they use in the course of moving to and from their places of employment and pleasure. _ Consequently, -the issue of an official tramway and motor bus guide by the Dunedin City Corporation will bo welcomed, ami, at the nominal price at which it is issued, it should find a ready sale. The publication, which is of a handy size for the pocket, comprises sixtyfour pages, including, in addition to the time-tables of every route in the service, general information regarding the city, the trams, and observation trips to the many places of beauty about the town. There are also illustrations of places of interest and beauty spots, most of which can ho easily reached by cither buses or trams. While the guide will bo of particular value to visitors during the Exhibition period, it should he none the loss interesting and informative for residents who, alter nil, cannot be expected to carry in their beads all the information which the publication contains. The publishers and printers arc Messrs Coulls, Somerville, and Wilkie, Lid., whoso arrangement of the information in the booldet is excellent, enabling the reader .to find what he wants to know in a moment. That, after all, is the first requirement of a guide book.
