The Hon. It. F. Bollard (Minister of Internal .Affairs) is duo from Wellington on Saturday next. Ho will be accompanied by Airs and Miss Bollard and his private secretary (Mr E. (1. N. Douiton). They will stay at the Grand Hotel. The new Commissioner of Police, Mr W. B. MTlvoney, will pay his first oliicial visit to Dunedin on Wednesday. Mr T. E. Y. Ssddon, ALP. for Grey, accompanied by Airs Seddon, will arrive in Dunedin on Thursday to visit the Exhibition. They will stay at the Grand Hotel.

Mr H. W. Bundle, S.AL, went away this morning for a month's holiday at Hanmer. Air J. AI. Dickson, ALP., left for Wellington by the 11.30 train to-day. Air H. R. Butterworth travelled to Lyttelton to-day to join a liner and return to London. Ho was accompanied on to-day's railway journey by his brother, Air C. P. AI. Butterworth. Air E. J. Denny went by the third northern express this morning, bound for Napier. Air E. S. Cookson travelled to Christchurch to-day. Air N. B. Lusk, the D.J.C. handicapper, left for Christchurch this morning. Mr lyemosa Tokugawa, Consul-Gene-ral for Japan in Australia, New Zealand, and a number of the Pacific Islands, is at present on a visit to Dunedin. On Saturday he visited the Waitaki Boys’ High School at Oamaru, to which ho had been invited in order to speak on tiio_ Japanese, and yesterday he spent in seeing some of the sights of Dunedin and surroundings.
