SYDNEY, March 13. Speaking at the annual dinner of the Australian and -New Zealand Booksellers’ Convention, Mr George Robertson, of the publishing firm of Messrs Angus and Robertson, said that the 'culture of a country or a. town could bo judged by its booksellers. New Zealand, he said, had a, great country trade. It was unfortunate that New South Wales was lacking in that respect. There were large country towns in that State without a first-class bookseller.
