AN AUSTRALIAN ARCHDEACON. LONDON, March 1. Archdeacon William Burbidge, of Bunbnry, Western Australia, preached before the King and Queen in Buckingham Palace chapel. He was afterwards presented to their Majesties. The Queen requested the archdeacon to thank the women of Bunbnry for their gift of a mantlopieco of Western Australian timber, which she greatly admired, to the London headquarters of the-Women’s Union.
