The Board of Science .and Art met yesterday and resolved that the Government ho requested to appoint a volcanologist as early as possible. It also recommended that the Government pay the expenses of the New Zealand delegates to the Tokio Science Congress next October. The importance of dominion representation was emphasised, and the attendance of the Administrator of Samoa and the Cook Islands was recommended.
