A. total of 2,100 hales was offered, and about half of these were sold. The Continental demand was restricted by tho financial conditions, hut Germany took some furriers’ sorts. The homo trade was operating fairly strongly, but the Americans were less active than recently. Furriers’ sorts —Now Zealand, A per cent, below January; Australian. 10 per cent, below; best hatters, par to 5 per cent, cheaper: medium, 5 per cent, lower; tan, 15 to 20 per cent, down; very common, 25 to 60 per cent, cheaper.—A. and N.Z.
