INDUSTRIAL DTSP OTE. Press Association —By Telegraph—Copyfight LONDON, March 10. A mass meeting ol Hoe strikers rejected the recommendation of the executive of the unions to return to work. Those present resolved that they would not resume work until the non-union-ists were removed and a substantial increase in wages was assured. The executive has called a, meeting to consider disciplinarv action.—A. and N.Z. Cable. LOCK-OUT NOTICES DEFERRED. LONDON, March 10. As the result of the meeting of the members of the executives of the seven unions concerned in tho Hoe dispute and Sir Allan Smith, chairman of the Employers’ Federation, the employers agreed to defer the operation of the lock-out notice until March 18.—Renter.
