FREE OF FRUIT FLY.
A Wellington Association message states that Senores Blanchard and Tielles, tho. Argentine orchard experts, have concluded their inspection of New Zealand fruit areas, and have presented a report to tho Minister of Agriculture. It is anticipated that this will endorse tno department’s opinion that New Zealand is free of fruit fly. If so, shipment of apples to the Argentine will probably amount to 50,000 cases, and good prices are expected.
