KNOCKED DOWN AND LEFT
YOUTH LIES IN AGONY [Per U mted Press Association.] CHRISTCHURCH, March 1. Knocked down by an nnlighted trap in Edgeware rpad shortly after 12.16 o’clock yesterday morning. Robert Inkster, aged twenty years, lay in agony with a, fractured leg until ho was picked up by a passing motorist nearly half an hour afterwards. Although his cries were heard by residents over a block away, the trap, which is said to have contained several men, continued on its way. The police are seeking the identity of the driver.
