‘FLORADORA'

LAST PERFORMANCE TO-NIGHT

To-night will be the last opportunity of seeing the really excellent production of 1 Floradora ’ by the Exhibition Operatic Society at the Festival Hall. The members of the cast have settled clown to their work so thoroughly that it now compares very favorably with that of many professional companies that have visited Dunedin. Principals and chorus alike act and sing with confidence, and the pretty little opera goes with a swing from start to finish. It is an altogether pleasing result of the bard and efficient training by Mr Harrison Cook, the producer. Mr Gustave Slapoffski is also entitled to credit for, his share in the musical direction, though even he.will concede that it is more difficult to make good actors and actresses than good singers out of raw materia!. There should’ be a big house at tie farewell performance to-ni^ht.
