LADIES' CHOIR CONCERTS

FESTIVAL HALL ATTRACTION

Keen interest is being shown in the two special concerts by the Christchurch Ladies’ Choir in the festival Hall on Thursday ami Friday nights. This famous choir, which is the only one of its kind in New Zealand, was organised in Christchurch only two or three years ago, and its fame quickly •spread throughout the dominion. Its special engagement to cometo Dunedin gives the musical population of_ this city the rare opportunity of hearing a remarkably lino singing organisation. There are seventy performers, and the full strength of the choir will he heard in the Festival Hall concerts. The programmes will consist of a pleasant variety of part songs and instr iniental and vocal solos by members of the choir, Mr Alfred Walmsley, and Mr Jlvrolu Bock. The box plans are at The Bristol.
