THE RUGBY STATION NOT FOR PRESS MESSAGES. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, December 17. ■While the Rugby experiments were mast successful in picking up Australia as well as other distant centres, it is not intended that, newspaper messages shall ever he transmitted from the station. Rugby will be used exclusively for Government purposes. The transmission of Press massages will not como until the completion of the beam stations.—A. and N.Z. Cable. SATISFACTORY RECEPTION. SYDNEY, December' 18. In connection with the Rugby wireless messages, on account of the high wave-length few amateurs arc able to pick up the more powerful stations. They report that, although statics interfered considerably, the reception of the messages is satisfactory. Arrangements are being made by broadcasting station 2FC to pick up tho messages and distribute them in plain language, commencing on Monday next, at 11.15 a.m, Sydney time.
