Sir, —In reply to the invitation of Mr Coombs, I would venture this opinion: The “ choap-painted_ interior _ decorations ” of the Exhibition Festival Hall referred to are not samples of onr “local art” at all, and our “travelled and educated ” visitors will see that they are not meant to he such.
