Sir Dawson Bates (Home Secretary for Northern Ireland), referring to the reports of Dr Manmx’s proposed visit to Ulster, said that he hoped that Dr Alannix would not persist in his intention. His utterances elsewhere had made his visit undesirable,, and were calculated to revive dissension and ilifeeliug.—Reuter.
