Monsieur Saidaigne announces a test recital for grand opera as a proof that it is possiu.e to gi.e a performance of grand opera with local talent, providing the pupils have had proper training lor attitude, staging, voice production, and interpretation. Why should Dunedin not have periodical grand opera performances as well as any other city of Australasia?
