YOU NG WORSHIPPERS' LEAGUE
There was a crowded audience at the Dundas Street Methodist School Hall on Wednesday evening last, when the concert connected with the Young Worshippers’ League anniversary was given. The programme was arranged by Miss A. Hencira. Miss F. Henderson and Mr A. Burton wero the accompanists. The prize-winners for attendance at Sunday morning worship were: Boys— Roy Miller 1, Guy Roberts and George King (equal) 2, Bruce Young 4. Girls— Nellie Divers 1, Kathleen Roberts 2, Betty Blamires 3, Vivienne Blauiires 4The concert programme was as follows;—Opening chorus by Young Worshippers’ League, ‘ You Will Never Grow Old’; duet, Misses Betty and Vivienne Blamires; recitation, ; Miss Phyllis Ruston ; chorus by Young* Worshippers’ League; recitation, Miss Georgina Bell; solo, Miss Nellie Watson; dialogue, 1 Flowers,’ five Y.W.L. girls; recitation. Miss Dorothy Rigby; duet, Misses Georgina and Julienne Bell; solo and chorus, Y.W. League; solo, Miss M. Pratt; recitation, Air Hawkins; cornet solo, Mr G. Christie : dialogue, Trinity Y.W.B. Class; coin juring by the Karnark Entertainers.
