CIVIL SERVANTS’ REMONSTRANCE DEMONSTRATION IN VIENNA. Press Association—By Telegiaph—Copyrijht VIENNA, September 10. A demonstration strike was carried out by the Austrian Civil servants, who assembled at the Town Ha.ll and resolved that Austria’s representative at tho Genova Conference be asked to draw the attention of tlio League of Nations to their intolerable situation. The demonstrators included officials of, the chief criminal court, where, despite vehement threats from the judge, the strikers interrupted the trial of a burglar, who was forcibly removed from the dock. Most of the warders and officials quitted the building after locking the doors. —Renter.
