Amcry (Secretary of State for the Dominions), now on holiday, when the Victorian and Queensland Governments will be consulted._ No representations have been received regarding State Governors, but the Imperial policy is unchanged since the days of Lord Milner, who recognised the State rights in the matter of’ gubernatorial appointment, but strongly objected to the various States pursuing different methods.—A. and N.Z.
