WRITING ON THE SKIN
A boy whoso skin was so peculiar that words “written” on it with_ a finger remained visible for ten minutes, was referred to in a London court case lately. Various explanations of this curious condition were given, one being that the lad was “ one skin short.” The facts were related during the appeal of Anthony James M’Lanajihy, assistant school teacher at Dockhead, against a lino of £2 for assaulting Teddy Aylcs, aged seven, who had been caned. The appeal was allowed.
