BREVITY FOR THE PRINCE
No one more than the Rifince of Wales will appreciate, from the point of view of an expert, tho speech ot tho Mayor of Barberton, South Africa, of twenty-five words in welcoming His Royal Highness to tho town. It was the shortest official speech of the tour so far, and created a record which will take some heating. The Prince himself can he very terse and to tho point, and says what he wants to say in as few words as possible. Contrary to the opinion held by some people, lie prepares all Ms own speeches, and eliminates all unnecessary trimmings. Hence he gets into a short space what many men would take half a column to say.
